Head Coach of Ebusua Dwarfs Bashiru Hayford says he needs a bit more time to put forward his ideas after his side’s performance in their opening game of the G8 tournament on Sunday.
Medeama edged Dwarfs in an entertaining 6-5 game at the Cape Coast and Coach Hayford believes there is a lot of work to done.
Coach Bash told reporters he barely even knows his players by name since he joined them some few weeks ago but promised to fix all their errors going forward.
“I just joined the team and I’m struggling with some of the names. With time, I will fix all the silly mistakes they commited”
“Congrats to Medeama for winning. I have observed my team scoring 5 and conceding 6 and there’s a lot we will work on before the next game” he told reporters after the match.
After first round of matches played, Medeama lead group B on goal difference with 3 points, Hearts of Oak are second with 3 points, Karela and Dwarfs occupy the 3rd and 4th positions respectively.
