Betinko is a suburb located within Atwima Mponua District in the Ashanti region.
Hon Martin Prempeh precise dissatisfaction that, teachers in Betinko dismisses students whenever it rains due to the bad nature of the school building which has now become a death trap.
School in bad condition
The community is said to have contributed to put up some foundation for a three classroom blocks but there is no help from anywhere to complete the whole building.
Again,the upper primary school lacks computer facility and other teaching equipment like chairs,textbooks,chalks any many more which makes teaching less effective .
He furthered said that, Betinko/Nkrumah,pakyi and other four communities lack proper toilet facilities with there already existed ones in each town are in deplorable state and its very dangerous to use when it is rains.
In an interviewed with the Chief of Betinko who is Sana’a gene of Toase Nana kwaku Duah II, said, the community lack portable drinking water as the matter of that,the residents take contaminated water which is very harmful to their health conditions.

Nana kwaku Duah II also added that, Hon Williams Darko Dce for Atwima Mponua personally came to assur the entire community with cement and other building materials to start the school project but he have not fulfilled his promised.

He passionately appeals to Dce to turn back to Betinko else they will vow not to vote in the upcoming election.
